Favorite Children's Book

My favorite children's book is Stephanie's Ponytail by Robert Munsch.  It is the hilarious story of a little girl that exercises her individuality.  She doesn't care what others think of her.  She is confident and spunky.  Children can relate to her.

  1. I love Robert Munsch! I often read his books during our week on favorite authors. The children love the silliness of his stories, and they make for great discussion!! Stephanie's Ponytail is good one for talking about the importance of being yourself. This is a book kids of all ages should read and reread!

  2. I too love Robert Munsch - we read Up Up Down....my preschoolers love this...we try to make it into a song which they love to do. I love the illustrations too. The kids love for me to animate my voice with the words...its pretty funny.

  5. The Very Hungry Caterpillar is one of my true favorite children's stories. Not only is it invitingly creative, it teaches skills. I love that you creatively developed your Blog to be child focused.
