Communication Role Model

Oprah Winfrey arrives at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles for the 77th annual Academy Awards, February 27, 2005. I think an example of a person that exemplifies clear communication is Oprah Winfrey.  She has won the heart of the world by being an effective communicator especially because of her ability to listen to others, understand where they are coming from and not be judgmental.  This is something I strive to do in my professional life especially because we deal with so many people from all walks of life.

    I agree Oprah is a good communicator, Johan. She is never judgemental, and is a patient and understanding listener. She certainly has parlayed that talent into millions of $$ : )

    That was a great choice, she never came to mind. But your right she is a wonderful communicator with year of experience. She really makes a person feel comfortable to open up and express there feelings.

    Johan,
    I think your choice is great. I also think Oprah is a good communicator which shows in her popularity. She does have good listening skills and is never judgmental with her guests. I believe this is why so many pariticipants of her show open-up and talk about even the most painful experiences.
